MUST-READ ARTICLE; A PARTY OF STARK-RAVING LUNATICS THIS SCANDAL HAS EVERYTHING!
REPLACING THE “STAR-SPANGLED BANNER”
A lot of people are talking about (and I don’t know why) a Yahoo music editor’s article calling for replacing “The Star-Spangled Banner” as America’s National Anthem, possibly with “Imagine” by John Lennon. The excuse is that Francis Scott Key was a slaveholder (he also represented slaves trying to win their freedom in court, pro bono) and that the third verse that is never sung is “blatantly racist” (although his use of the term “slave” has been hotly debated and might mean people pressed into service by the British Navy, oh and by the way, did I mention that it’s NEVER SUNG?)
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20
This is hardly the first time anyone’s wanted to replace “The Star-Spangled Banner,” although until now, it’s usually been because it’s so hard to sing (the tune was taken from a drinking song with a high note you practically have to be drunk to attempt to hit.) The choice to replace it was usually Irving Berlin’s “God Bless America,” but we can’t have that now! Referring to God is almost as un-PC as honoring a slaveholder.
But what about “Imagine”? Look, I love the Beatles, but that has to be the most over-praised song of the past century. Even Lennon admitted that it’s basically the Communist Manifesto set to music. Radical leftists love it because it paints a picture of a utopian world without national borders, private property or religion, and Lennon often found himself having to correct their interpretations and reminding them that he wasn’t advocating for those things, he was just suggesting “imagining” that we didn’t have all those differences so we could work together globally.
But people DO have differences, and as experience has taught us, leftist prescriptions, like taking away religious freedom and property rights, do nothing but make them angrier and more likely for those differences to flare into war. Besides, imposing that “utopia” requires an ironfisted oppressive government, which isn’t likely in a world without borders. If the song has a dreamlike quality, that’s because it is a dream. A pipe dream.
Besides, if we had to do away with every song because the writer wasn’t a saint, we wouldn’t have much music left, and that includes John Lennon’s music. Wonder what the cancel culture would do if they realized John wrote a song intended as a feminist anthem that was called “Woman is the (N-word) of the World”?
As with all art, we have to learn to separate the creation from the creator. Francis Scott Key was a flawed human being, as are all human beings, but he gave us a great song that represents a great nation, and it stands for all our people. Some of the most inspiring renditions of it were performed by black entertainers, from Mahalia Jackson to Jimi Hendrix to Whitney Houston.
If the statue-smashing radicals really want to learn from the wisdom of John Lennon, I’d recommend instead a far better song: “Revolution.”
“You say you want a revolution, well, you know, we all want to change the world…
But when you talk about destruction, don’t you know that you can count me out…
You say you got a real solution, well, you know, we’d all love to see the plan.
You ask me for a contribution, well, you know, we’re all doing what we can.
But if you want money for people with minds that hate, all I can tell is brother you have to wait…
You say you’ll change the Constitution, well, you know, we all want to change your head.
You tell me it’s the institution, well, you know, you better free your mind instead.
But if you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao, you ain’t gonna make it with anyone anyhow…”
Yahoo wonders if the ‘Star-Spangled Banner’ should be replaced with ‘Imagine’
Following the tried and true formula of “Should, this thing happen? We found some random experts who say so,” Yahoo Entertainment has reached the conclusion that it’s time for the “Star-Spangled Banner” to be replaced as the U.S. national anthem.
The piece reads at times like a parody, with “journalist and activist” Kevin Powell arguing that it teaches kids violence at an early age and that every time the song is sung, it’s a celebration of the writer, Francis Scott Key, rather than a celebration of America. Key, who was a slaveowner, opposed abolition but also represented slaves trying to win their freedom in court, for no charge. It turns out like many historical figures, Key was a complicated man.
The third stanza of the song also features some, at best, questionable lines. “No refuge could save the hireling and slave. From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave,” could be referring to slaves literally, though Snopes pointed out that Key never specified what he meant and it could be a reference to the British Navy. Only the first stanza is ever even sung, and you’d be hard-pressed to find a handful of Americans who know any of the rest of the poem.
Powell also delivers on his idea for a replacement; John Lennon’s “Imagine.” That’s right, the song that asks listeners to “imagine there are no countries” should become the national anthem of our country. According to Powell, “Imagine” is, “the most beautiful, unifying, all-people, all-backgrounds-together kind of song you could have.” Unless, of course, your background is religious. A song that calls for “no religion too” should play well for the roughly 80% of religious people in the United States.
The calls to replace the “Star-Spangled Banner” are not serious ones, even in these unserious times of attempting to cleanse the past from civil society. In the end, this piece is mostly just a reminder that stripping the nation’s history and tradition does not have a limiting principle for some people, and many of those people are “experts” who get to advocate their positions in softball news stories. Power according to
“Now I will tell you the answer to my question. It is this. The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power, pure power. What pure power means you will understand presently. We are different from the oligarchies of the past in that we know what we are doing. All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites. The German Nazis and the Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives. They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just around the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal. We are not like that. We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now you begin to understand me.”
“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5
Facebook has buckled into the pressure exerted on him by the radical Left, losing billions of dollars in stock value after being boycotted by the ‘big boys’. He has agreed to their demands to begin blocking and removing anything that goes against the Marxist agenda currently being forced on us through paramilitary groups like ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter. Case in point is the very first thing they have deemed as hate speech, a GOP campaign ad for Trump exposing the brutality of the Black Lives Matter riots. The riots themselves are not blocked or censored in any way, and ANTIFA and BLM soldiers are allowed to recruit through Facebook.
“But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. And the gospel must first be published among all nations. But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.” Mark 13:9-11 (KJV)
Why is this happening? Because the Democrats have an election to steal in just a few months, and they cannot win if Christians and Conservatives keep telling the truth and exposing the coup that is currently underway. Call it the site that everyone loves to hate, but Facebook is the global meeting house, and the Liberal agenda cannot be put in power if free speech, free thought, and free expression are allowed. Sites like House of the Nazarene will maybe have to be removed because we have the most despised hate speech of all, and you will find it within the pages of your King James 1611 Authorized Version Holy Bible.
This is the manifesto of the Liberal Democrats, this is from a novel, yet it is happening in America at this very moment. ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter are their goon squads that roam our cities, burning, looting, robbing, raping, and killing just like the Nazi Brown Shirts before them. They are staging a coup against America, and they will succeed if you let them. I have done my part by putting myself on the front lines with this article, and boldly defying them by exposing their agenda.
What will you do to prevent the overthrow of the United States of America? Think fast, if you wait too long it will all be over, and you will be enslaved.

Mark Zuckerberg finally promises action on ‘hate speech’ as Facebook shares drop $56 BILLION after Unilever and Coca-Cola pulled their advertisements
FROM DAILY MAIL UK: Facebook shares have dropped a staggering $56 billion after major companies including Unilever and Coca-Cola pulled their advertisements from the social media giant, despite CEO Mark Zuckerberg promising action on hate speech and putting a warning label on a Republican National Committee (RNC) video.
- Shares in the platform went crashing 8.3 percent to $216.08 by the closing bell Friday wiping $56 billion off Facebook’s market value
- This dealt a blow to Mark Zuckerberg’s personal fortune, pushing him from third to fourth place on Bloomberg Billionaires Index with a new net worth of $82.3bn
- More than 100 firms including Unilever, Dove, Honda and Ben & Jerry’s have pulled the plug on Facebook advertising in support of #StopHateForProfit
- The campaign called the company out for failing to stop hate speech and misinformation being posted on its platform
- Coca-Cola became the latest major corporation to pull ad spend Friday saying ‘there is no place for racism in the world’
- Facebook CEO Zuckerberg bowed to pressure Friday and announced new content policies on ‘harmful’ and ‘hateful’ content
- The platform then put a ‘violent or graphic content’ warning label on a GOP video called ‘It’s about destroying America’ Friday
- The video features footage of cop cars on fire alongside snippets of speeches made by Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors and Joe Biden
Shares in the platform went crashing 8.3 percent to $216.08 by the closing bell Friday – its lowest in three months – after more than 100 advertisers boycotted the firm for its failure to stop hate speech and misinformation being posted on its platform. This wiped $56 billion off Facebook’s market value and dealt a hefty $7.2 billion blow to Zuckerberg’s personal fortune, pushing him down from third to fourth place on Bloomberg Billionaires Index and leaving him with a new net worth of $82.3 billion.
This came after Coca-Cola and Unilever became the latest major corporations to pull the plug on Facebook advertising Friday, joining several firms including Dove, Honda, and Ben & Jerry’s in a show of support for the #StopHateForProfit campaign. Coca-Cola announced a pause on all paid social media advertising globally for at least 30 days saying ‘there is no place for racism in the world and there is no place for racism on social media’ while Unilever, one of the world’s biggest advertisers, said it would stop spending money with Facebook for the rest of the year.
Zuckerberg buckled under the pressure Friday and announced new content policies for the platform, including tighter restrictions on advertising and labels for ‘harmful’ posts from public figures.
The GOP appears to be one of the first to face the clampdown on ‘harmful’ and ‘hateful’ content after Facebook put a warning label on a video posted by the RNC about ‘left-wing anarchists’ Friday. The platform put a ‘violent or graphic content’ warning on the video named ‘It’s about destroying America’ which features footage of cop cars on fire alongside snippets of speeches made by Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors as well as Democrats Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
‘This video may show violent or graphic content,’ the Facebook warning reads. ‘We covered this video so you can decide if you want to see it.’
The video opens with footage of Cullors saying ‘we are trained Marxists’ before it goes on to show snippets of violent scenes across America amid the ongoing civil unrest in the wake of the Memorial Day ‘murder’ of black man George Floyd by a white cop in Minneapolis.
‘The ‘trained Marxists’ are on a violent rampage,’ flashes up on the screen as the video shows select scenes of a cop being hit by a car, an LA police cruiser on fire, a toppled statue of Ulysses Grant and St. John’s Church on fire during protests calling for an end to police brutality and racism. Amid calls for the removal of Confederate symbols and nostalgia prompted by the Black Lives Matter movement, the notoriously liberal country music trio formerly known as the Dixie Chicks have finally decided that “Dixie” had to die. Source
The latest example of caving to the woke mob: the country group The Dixie Chicks announced that they are dropping the word “Dixie” from their names and will henceforth be known simply as “The Chicks.” I predict that feminists will protest that they are offended and triggered by the word “Chicks” and the group will announce that henceforth, they will simply be called “The.”
