These books cover the life of the nation from their possession of the land down to the two deportations and loss of the land because of unbelief and disobedience.

The testimony of Jesus (about Jesus) is the spirit of prophecy. In other words, the very nature and purpose of prophecy, and all of Scripture for that matter, is to reveal Jesus Christ.
We are calling this a short survey because this study is more of a nutshell approach to the books of the Old and New Testaments. The goal is to give the reader key terms, verses, themes or purposes of each of the books along with a brief description of the content.
